What I'm Reading This Week
Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman
Richard Mayhew goes through the motions of everyday life - work, fiance, sleep and do it over again. He's had an ordinary life. The most adventurous thing he ever did was move to London from his home in Edinburgh. That is, until he took a bleeding stranger home to his apartment.
The Reptile Room by Lemony Snicket
The Baudelaire Orphans, after finally escaping the clutches of Count Olaf, are sent to live with yet another unknown, distant relative. Uncle Montgomery is a scientist, an esteemed herpetologist, who's leaving for Peru in only a few weeks. The children finally have the rest they need, but they just can't seem to shake Count Olaf's threats.
